Untitled and All I am is Impulse and Longing Series (hopefully) 2008-02-26

Hey hey hello! I know it’s been a while…alright, a SUPER long time. But I just wanted to let you all know that I am having a minor show at a gallery on campus. For those of you who don’t know, I’m an Art Major at UofO and my main area of interest is photography. My show will be March 10th through the 14th from 10am to 6pm (throughout the week). The gallery is a student gallery that exhibits student work (undergrads, BFA, and MFA students). It is located in Lawrence Hall on the UofO campus and is called the LaVerne Krause Gallery. My work will be photos, but there are other artists who will be displaying their work as well so it’s a mixed media show. I will for sure have one piece of work up that is so far “Untitled” and if there is adequate room, another series titled, “All I am is Impulse and Longing.” Which is a quote from an artist whom I admire named Jenny Holzer. So if you’re around or if you feel like it, I would love love love if you dropped by to check it out. It would give me great pleasure to know that my work is being viewed by people I love.
